MILLEDGEVILLE —
Linda Langford Trussell, 67, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2013. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 8, at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home with the Rev. Curtis Hardie officiating.
Mrs. Trussell was a native of Wilkinson County but had made her home in Milledgeville where she was retired from Georgia Department of Corrections. She was a member of Mosleyville Baptist Church and the Joy Group. She was a pianist and organist at several churches for many years. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Trussell; a son, Henry Hardee (Monica); a sister, Jimmie Lyle (Milton); grandchildren: Anna Hardee, Preston Hardee, Ella Hardee, Jake Shaffer and Sarah Shaffer; two nieces, Ginger Thompson and Cindy Lyle and several great nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Moores Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Milledgeville Rescue Foundation (ARF).
