MILLEDGEVILLE —
A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Elizabeth Birton Ward of 2451 Verndale Drive, Milledgeville will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2013. Services will begin at noon at Union Baptist Church, 720 N. Clarke St., Milledgville with the interment following at Heritage Memorial Park.
Elizabeth made her sacred journey to her heavenly home on Wednesday January 9, 2013. She leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters; Jerry Dean Stephens, Betty Jean Ward; one son; Walker Lee Ward Jr., all of Milledgeville; two sisters, Parra Lee Fraley of Lakeland, Fla., and Lula Gay Butts of Milledgeville; one brother, Bennie Birtn of Rocky Way, N.Y.; two granddaughters, three great-grand-daughters, one great-grandson and a loving host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Ward was preceded in death by her husband, Walker Lee Ward Sr. and her parents Frank Birton Sr. and Mary Ann Pruitt Ward.
