MILLEDGEVILLE —
Funeral services for Deacon Iverson Bernard Bonner Jr. will be held today from Oak Grove Baptist Church with viewing from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral hour. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Bonner, 96, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at a local hospital.
Survivors include: daughters, Ms. Kathleen Giddings and Ms. Valeria Thompson; son, Mr. Ezekiel Bonner; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Mary Louise Paxton and Mrs. Doris Williams, both of Jamaica Queens, N.Y., and Ms. Chiquitta Davis of Milledgeville; brothers, Mr. Andrew L. Bonner, Mr. Griffin L. Bonner, and Mr. Emory Bonner, all of Milledgeville; Mr. Albert Bonner and Pastor Henry L. Bonner, both of St. Paul, Minn.; and a host of other relatives.
