Funeral services for Mr. Myron Richmond Green, 84, will be conducted Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at 3 p.m. in the Williams Funeral Home Chapel of Gordon. Interment will follow in Ramah Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home of Gordon on Sunday from 1:30 until the service hour.
Mr. Green was a native of Amherst, Neb., and had lived in Wilkinson County since 1965. The son of the late Donald and Helen Hubbard Green, Mr. Green was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Layton Green, and brothers Donald, Rex, Frank, Morris, and Bernard Green. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Gordon Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughters, Ann Marie Green of Valdosta, Melissa (Joe) Stark of Pennsylvania, Brenda Green of Coopers; sons, Myron R. (Sherry) Green Jr. of Pennsylvania, Ronald Green of Ivey, and Don (Lisa) Green of Ivey; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
