MILLEDGEVILLE —
Betty Jean Doty Barker, 81, of Macon passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2013. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 13, 2013, at Vineville Baptist Church.
Born in Macon, she was the daughter of the late James Cone Doty and Sarah Corene Washburn Doty. She was a retired Clinical Administrative Assistant with Central State Hospital in Milledgeville, and an active and beloved member of Vineville Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her daughter, Cheryl Fullington Hardwick.
She is survived by her children, Floyd Keith Fullington of Oakland, Calif., and Jannis Fullington Taylor of Maryville, Tenn.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and he brother, J.C. Doty Jr. of Woodstock, Ga.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to the Lottie Moon Offering C/O Vineville Baptist Church, Macon.
