Vivian “Bibi” South Johnson

MILLEDGEVILLE — Vivian “Bibi” South Johnson, 68, passed away Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, due to complications from cancer. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home. Burial will be at Baldwin Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Johnson was born in Memphis, Tenn., and later moved to Georgia where she graduated from Tallulah Falls High School. In 1968, she moved to Milledgeville where she raised her family but had made her home in Hiram since 1989. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Sidney and Gladys Elizabeth Strickland South, and her brother, Thomas South.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Terry Johnson of Hiram; two daughters, Lynn Watkins (Joe) of Loganville and Kim Henderson (Ken) of Hiram; two sisters, Joan Howard of Evans and Joyce Doster of Monroe; and three grandchildren, Robby Watkins, Terry Henderson and Sydney Henderson.
