Paul Snead

HARTWELL — Paul Snead went to be with the Lord Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012. He passed away at home after a lengthy illness.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Paul Snead. He is survived by Pat Snead, his loving and devoted wife of 16 years; his stepsons, Chris Byrd and Eric Barber and his daughter-in-law Angel Barber of Milledgeville; granddaughter, Lauren Pressley and husband Elvis Pressley and grandson Kevin Byrd of Eatonton; grandchildren Bella and Gabby Grossi; mother, Edith Rhodes Snead of Rock Hill, S.C.; aunt, Sarah Lintymer; sister, Sandra Reinhardt and brother in-law James Reinhardt of Edgemoor, S.C.; brother, Larry Snead and sister-in-law Leigh Powell Snead of McDonough; nephew, Josh Reinhardt and his wife Lauren Reinhardt of Rock Hill, S.C.and nephew, Lance Snead of McDonough; niece, Jessica Reinhardt of Edgemoor, S.C.; and his great grandson, Dalton Pressley of Eatonton.

Paul was born on May 20, 1947 to Gordon and Edith Snead. He graduated high school in Smith Station, Ala. and attended college at University of Alabama and Southern Union State Community College. He was an assistant manager at West Building Supply and a Sales Associate at Choo Choo Building Supply and worked in the Receiving Department at Tractor Supply. He was a member of Freedom Church in Milledgeville.

A visitation will be at Williams Funeral Home today from 6 to 8 p.m. in Milledgeville. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012 at Freedom Church at 2 p.m., 500 Underwood Rd., Milledgeville.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Freedom Church Easter Play Ministries.
