MILLEDGEVILLE —
Remus Judson Bedingfield Sr., 86, passed away Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, at Friendship Baptist Church, 635 Twin Bridges Road, Eatonton, with the Rev. Milton Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Macon.
Mr. Bedingfield was a native of Harrison, and lived in Macon before making his home on Lake Sinclair since 1986. He was a retired master mechanic with Armstrong World Industries. He was a member of New Comers Club of Baldwin County and an avid member of the NRA. He was known by all for his love of fishing, hunting and entertaining family and friends with fish fry’s. He was a member of the former Cross Keys Baptist Church in Macon. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lee Bedingfield, and two daughters, Pamela Payne and Paulette Weber, and a granddaughter, Julie Payne.
Survivors include his son, Judson Bedingfield (Teresa Mayhew) of Jasper County; three daughters, Melinda Tucker (Jimmy) of Savannah, Judy Crawford (Kenneth) of Eatonton and Monica Jinglewski (Michael) of Macon; eight grandchildren, Stephanie Bleshoy, Jennifer McFarland, Jacquelyn Tucker, Melanie Marshall, Mark Weber, Nichole Mullins, Taylor Bedingfield and Blair Davis; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Moores Funeral Home.
