MILLEDGEVILLE —
John Howard Albrecht, 80, died Thursday, January 31, 2013, at The Medical Center of Central Georgia of a heart attack. A graveside service will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Kingsport, Tenn,. at a time to be announced later.
A native of Brookings, S.D., he moved to Eatonton, Ga., in 2007 to be closer to his children. John was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Ruth Wilson Albrecht of Eatonton, and other family.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Broad Street United Methodist Church Building Fund, 100 E. Church Circle, Kingsport, Tenn. 37660.
