MILLEDGEVILLE —
Royce E. Hardy, 78, passed away Friday, Nov. 2, 2012.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4 at Westview Cemetery.
Mr. Hardy was a native of Milledgeville and lived in Avondale Estates for many years. He was retired and a Navy veteran serving in the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas D. and Madge Eskew Hardy, and a sister, Betty J. Burgamy.
Survivors include his son, Russell "Rusty" Hardy of Bessemer, Ala.; a sister, Eleanor H. Perkins of Avondale Estates; a nephew, Tom Burgamy, and a niece, Terri A. Moony, and several other nephews and nieces.
