MILLEDGEVILLE — Zalia Hall Harris, 92, of Cohutta and formerly of Milledgeville, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at Hamilton Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Harris. She was a member of Carolyn Baptist Church.

Mrs. Harris is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Pat Harris of Cohutta; grandchildren, Tom and Dayna Harris of Ringgold, Jay and Sanna Harris of Chatsworth, and Vickie and Phillip Trollinger of Dawnville; great-grandchildren, Heather Ingle, Ashley Staten, Colby Harris, Lake Harris, Oraya Harris, Zoe Harris, Qwynly Harris, Willow Harris and Yasmine Huggins; and great-great-grandchildren, Johnathon Ingle, Anabelle Ingle and Karli Allen.

A graveside service to honor the life of Zalia Hall Harris will be held at noon Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at Varnell Cemetery with the Rev. James Brownlee officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
