MILLEDGEVILLE —
Funeral services for Ms. Betty J. Liggins will be held Saturday, January 26, 2013, from Friendship Baptist Church with viewing from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral hour. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Ms. Liggins of 162 Old Colony Farm Road entered into rest on Saturday, January 18, 2013.
Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Lillian L. Buck Wagner of Milledgeville; eight brothers: Mr. Willie Liggins, Elder Eddie Liggins, Mr. Norris Liggins, Mr. Jackie Barnes, all of Milledgeville; Mr. Harvey Buck of Boston, Mass.; and Mr. Kelvin Barnes of Grayson, Ga.; and Mr. Matthew Liggins and Mr. James Liggins, both of Brooklyn, N.Y. ; eight sisters: Mrs. Dorothy Downing, Mrs. Eleanor Boyer , Mrs. Beulah Fleming, Ms. Carol Martin-Buck, all of Milledgeville; Mrs. Irona Spikes of Gray; Mrs. Gladys Garner of Augusta, Ga.; Mrs. Janie Salley of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and Evangelist Willie Bell Martin of Sandersville; nephews and nieces; cousins and other relatives; and many friends.
