Marian Bush obit

MILLEDGEVILLE — Services for Marian Collier Bush, 68, of Milledgeville were held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2013, with visitation at 1p.m. at Meigs Baptist Church, Meigs, Ga. The Rev. Dennis Norman officiated.

Ms. Bush passed away March 15, 2013, at her residence. Born August 20, 1944, in Thomasville, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Edwin Marion and Margaret Alligood Collier. Ms. Bush was a retired teacher of the Baldwin County School System, who helped countless students learn necessary vocational skills. After her teaching career, she enjoyed collecting art and antiques, gardening and researching her family ancestry.

Survivors include two brothers, Thomas Collier and Raymond Collier; sister, Margaret Ann Collier; and nieces, Kimberly Collier Ashe, Jennifer Collier Elwood, Karen Collier Cohilas and Caitlin Collier. She was preceded in death by brother, Tony Collier.

The family received friends at 1p.m. before the service at Meigs Baptist Church.
