MILLEDGEVILLE — Jackie Russell, 82, of Milledgeville died on her birthday, Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, at Williams Funeral Home Chapel of Milledgeville.

An Atlanta native, born Oct. 18, 1930, Jackie Russell graduated from O’Keefe High School in 1948 and was employed by Crawford Long Hospital from 1970 to 1990. She moved to Sparta and became an active member of Devereux Baptist Church. Since 2006, she has been a resident of Chaplinwood Nursing Home, Milledgeville. She was a member of Northridge Christian Church.

Survivors include a sister, Jean Hogan of Smyrna; nephew, Harold Hogan of Mableton; niece, Jane Hogan Norred of Cartersville; two great-nieces; two great-nephews; four great-great-nieces; one great-great-nephew; and one great-great-great-niece.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made to the charity of your choice, Devereux Baptist Church, 742 Main St., Devereux, GA 31087, or Northridge Christian Church, 321 Log Cabin Road, Milledgeville, GA 31061.
