Murray, Bray share SEC player of week honors

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Quarterbacks Aaron Murray and Tyler Bray are co-Southeastern Conference offensive players of the week.

Murray passed for 384 yards and four touchdowns to lead Georgia over Mississippi. Bray led Tennessee past Troy with 530 yards and five touchdowns.

The SEC named Alabama linebacker Adrian Hubbard defensive player of the week on Monday. Hubbard had a career-high 12 tackles and a sack in Alabama's win at LSU. He was in on a fourth-quarter stop on a fourth down play.

Vanderbilt kicker Carey Spear received special teams honors after making two field goals against Kentucky.

LSU's La'el Collins and Vandy's Wesley Johnson shared the offensive line award. Arkansas end Chris Smith and Florida tackle Sharrif Floyd are co-defensive players of the week while Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel claimed freshman honors.
