The Intruders fast-pitch softball team competed in the CamSports Southern Fall Classic one-day tournament in Cordele Saturday, Oct. 31.
The Intruders played a total of five games, making it to the championship game where they fell for their second loss of the day to the Stingerz of Macon. Playing for the Intruders Saturday were, front row, Caroline Snider (Washington County), Ashley Rowland (Dodge County), Anna Jackson (Wilkinson County); back row, Mattie Usry (Greene County), Emily Snider (Washington County), Sarah Elizabeth Strickland (Washington County), Jessica Hayles (Wilkinson County) Danielle Easterly (Putnam County), Candace Story (Washington County) and Allie Jackson (Wilkinson County ) The team is coached by Tim Turner (Baldwin County) and Dennis Moore (Wilkinson County). The Intruders are a 14-and-under team that includes players from central Georgia counties.
