The John Milledge Academy boys lost a close game to the Brentwood team from Sandersville Tuesday by a score of 54-47.
After a hard fought first half that saw JMA behind 21-20, Brentwood went on to stretch the lead for the win.
The Trojans were led in scoring by Ben Prestwood with 14 points and Cody Wood with 11.
JMA now has a 1-1 record on the year.
Both the girls and boys are back in action on Friday night at home against John Hancock with the girls game to start a 6 p.m. and the boys game to follow at 7:30 p.m.
