Preserving Fresh Produce workshop will be held

MILLEDGEVILLE — Preserving Fresh Produce workshop offered by the Milledgeville Community Garden Association and Live Healthy Baldwin will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 210 S. Wayne St., from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Learn how to preserve fresh fruits and vegetables using various techniques including freezing and canning. This workshop is intended for beginning or experienced canners and is taught by avid farmer and MCGA board member, Dr. Julia Metzker, Georgia College professor of chemistry.
