City reception honors outgoing Council members

A Monday afternoon reception honored the service of two outgoing members of the Milledgeville City Council. Aldermen Ken Vance and Ken Morgan both declined to seek additional terms on the Milledgeville City Council for the next four years and were recognized for their service to the city Monday afternoon. The reception, held in Council chambers, was heavily attended by citizens and public servants from around the middle Georgia area. Morgan completed one term on the Council. Vance served 28 years on the Council. Family and friends gathered to wish the former councilmen well.
