Mary Vinson Library donates collected goods to local food pantry

MILLEDGEVILLE — The Mary Vinson Memorial Library donated nonperishable boxed and canned goods to Chard Wray Food Pantry Monday through community support during its Thanksgiving Food Drive.

‘We’ve received two boxes of goods with a lot of canned items, dry goods and even Tide detergent,’ said Sarah Hamil, library outreach coordinator. ‘A lot of people want to give back in the community and it’s nice to provide a place for that.’
