Downtown Fall Frenzy for First Friday

MILLEDGEVILLE — Milledgeville Main Street presented its Downtown Fall Frenzy during the October First Friday event last week.

Members of the 48th Brigade were on site with trucks and heavy equipment on display for local children. The Baldwin High School NJROTC held a candy drop for youth, sponsored by Kroger and Piggly Wiggly. 

Musical performances included T.P. and Sandra Holloman, Carlos Toombs and the Reception Band and Ernest Rogers while Z97 FM played today’s great hits. 

The Compassionate Crafts booth sold local arts and crafts to benefit Soles4Souls organization. Milledgeville Rotary Club sponsored a chalk art competition while Oconee Regional Medical Center hosted a pumpkin painting activity for youth.

Next month’s First Friday event is scheduled Nov. 2 in downtown Milledgeville.
