The Milledgeville Music Club meets at 3 p.m. in Room 228 in Georgia College’s Porter Hall. Special guest will be Dr. Bob Wilson joining Dr. Richard Greene in presenting a study of the music in our area including the history of the Milledgeville Music Club.

BOOST initiative provides downtown grants
In celebration of Georgia’s Small Business week, the Downtown Development Authority announced a new downtown incentive program called BOOST. The Downtown Milledgeville Investment Group is designed to assist small businesses and entrepreneurs with funding needs.

BHS offers students broader range of courses via online
Baldwin High School senior Taylor Martin has enjoyed taking online courses for the last two years to further her knowledge in content areas not offered in the regular high school curriculum. With Georgia Virtual School (GaVS), students are provided that option of online learning.
