MILLEDGEVILLE — More than 250 people celebrated their Thanksgiving holiday at The Original Crockett’s Family Cafeteria Thursday to enjoy all of the traditional trimmings, including Ross and Linda Harridge and Krish Patel.
The menu consisted of an array of freshly cooked items, including turkey, pot roast, oven fried chicken, dressing, rutabagas, green beans, mashed potatoes, fried okra, cornbread, pecan pie, banana pudding and sweet tea.
‘This year’s turnout was awesome,’ said Frances Crockett, co-owner and wife of Allen Crockett. ‘A lot of people said they were glad they were able to come here because they didn't have to cook.’
