Primary election certified by Ga. Sec. of State

ATLANTA — Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp has certified the results of the state's July 20 primary election.

Kemp's office announced the certification Wednesday, saying all counties have provided all votes cast for each candidate and that the results are accurate. No candidates have contested the results of the election so far, which is allowed under state law.

A runoff election will be held Aug. 10 for races where the two candidates who received the most votes did not get a majority of ballots cast.
