Georgia College's online program makes “Best Online Education Programs” List

MILLEDGEVILLE — U.S. News and World Report named Georgia College’s online Master of Business Administration degree program as one of the best in the nation.

The “2013 Best Online Graduate Business Programs” ranks the Georgia WebMBA® at Georgia College 15th nationally – and the highest rated program in the state.

"This ranking bears evidence of a very competitive program featuring high-quality teaching, rigorous admission standards, highly motivated and mature students, and consistently exceptional support from the college’s graduate program staff, led by Lynn Hanson,” said Dr. Dale Young, interim dean of the College of Business.

The program allows professionals to earn an MBA completely online without interrupting their work and personal lives.

Georgia WebMBA® at Georgia College is accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the premier accrediting body for business degree programs.

This marks the 11th year of the Georgia WebMBA® program, which is offered by six University System of Georgia schools.

Georgia WebMBA® enrolls nearly 200 students each year through the participating universities.

“We are proud of the numerical growth this program has experienced over the past several years in a very competitive marketplace,” said Young. “This ranking is recognition of the superior program quality that has accompanied that growth.
