ARF seeks homes for animals by year's end

MILLEDGEVILLE —

Animal Rescue Foundation will hold a year-end special adoption event through New Year’s Eve. The event is to encourage qualified adopters to go to ARF and adopt one (or two) of ARF's shelter pets and to reduce the number of cats and dogs at ARF before Jan. 1.

According to an event press release, incentives are waived adoption fees for the first cat and dog adopted on each of the four days and a $50 adoption fee for all other cats and dogs. This does not include the microchip fee of $50 for dogs; that fee still applies.

Adoption hours are from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Monday.

For more information on ARF's animals, visit their website at animalrescuefoundation.org, visit their Facebook page, email ARF at shelter@animalrescuefoundation.org or call (478) 454-1273.

The ARF shelter is located at 711 S. Wilkinson St.
