MILLEDGEVILLE — Milledgeville Allied Arts presents ‘Images From Travel, Near and Far’ by photographer David Veal through Nov. 9 at the Marlor House, 201 N. Wayne St.
Veal has been practicing photography for more than 30 years. His work has been exhibited on book jackets, in magazines, on CD covers as well as in many group and one-person shows. His photographs are in private collections in the US and Europe.
Veal has never limited himself to a particular subject matter, rather allowing his work to be more a response to the individual sense of time and place. Most recently his work was included in the Jekyll Island Authority’s book, ‘Jekyll Island-The Nearest Faraway Place.’
Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. There is no admission fee charged to visit the gallery.
