MILLEDGEVILLE — A local holiday tradition, the Milledgeville Pilot Club hosted the annual downtown tree lighting Friday evening.
The evening’s program featured live music, refreshments, face-painting and a visit from Santa.
Donations from the event go to support the local club’s car seat safety check program, its brain safety awareness campaign and events at the Georgia War Veterans Home.
The event is put on each year by the Pilots the Friday after Thanksgiving.
