‘Spirit of GMC’ weekend honors Boylan
A special celebration enlivened the Georgia Military College campus in celebration of Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Peter J. Boylan’s 21-year tenure as the institution’s president. The festivities began on Friday, June 8 with a black-tie dinner attended by 200, including members of Boylan’s family and close friends and supporters of Georgia Military College.

MPD make drug, firearm arrests based on tip of criminal trespass
Milledgeville police arrested eight individuals on charges of Interference with government property, criminal trespass, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, and possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute within 1000 feet of a federal housing authority, based on a tip they received of unauthorized people using a vacant residence.
