MILLEDGEVILLE — Georgia College present a live stage version of the musical The Wedding Singer at 8 p.m. in Russell Auditorium. Amazing dances and songs will be featured courtesy of the Georgia College Department of Theatre. With 42 speaking roles and over one hundred costumes, this musical will prove to be the splashiest spectacle the department has ever presented. Senior theater major Jordan Hale portrays the lead role of Robbie in this 1980s inspired world where rock star-wannabe Robbie Hart is New Jersey’s favorite wedding singer who undergoes heartache and growing pains in and out of love. General admission is $16; senior citizens, Georgia College faculty and staff is $12; Georgia College students is $7. Groups of 10 or more can get a discounted rate of $11 per ticket.
