MILLEDGEVILLE —
Hundreds of visitors and outdoors enthusiasts are expected at the Milledgeville Mall this weekend to attend Z-97’s 16th Annual Boat RV and Personal Watercraft Show.
Z-97 marketing director Phillip Joiner said the show is a great opportunity for anyone who is interested in outdoor recreation.
“When spring happens, the sun starts to come out,” he said. “Once you go through those winter doldrums, spring weather just reminds everybody that we are a thriving lake community, especially recreation enthusiasts.”
Mid State RV Center and Georgia RV Depot are both on site with multiple models ranging from campers to the largest RVs on the road.
“Both dealers have RVs in every finance bracket,” Joiner said. “The largest RVs are very impressive.”
Boats with Gusto is on-site featuring Sea Doo boats and for the first time, kayaks. Crowe Marine is showing off its offering of pontoon and deck boats.
TCH Watersports has personal watercraft at the mall show. Sinclair Powersports is displaying personal watercraft, but also has a few all-terrain vehicles at the show.
“There is something of high, high quality on every level,” Joiner said.
The show spans the area between Ruby Tuesday and Save-A-Lot Grocery store in the parking lot of the Milledgeville Mall.
Joiner said that the show is a great opportunity for families to enjoy the first dose of good spring weather.
“The convenience factor is what is huge about this showcase. People can come to one place and see it all,” he said.
The station’s show opened Friday and will run through Sunday afternoon.
“Anytime that we have the opportunity to give the community the chance to come out and do something fun, we have a good time doing it,” Joiner said.
