MILLEDGEVILLE —
For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him: 1 Samuel 1:27 (KJV)
It is with a very grateful heart that we welcome God's precious gift and answered prayer to us in the person of Willoughby Tatum (Willough) Bracewell. When we first held her in our arms, we knew that our lives were forever changed for the better. Every parent prays to be a better parent, worthy of the trust placed in them by God when he answers that parent's prayer. We will be worthy of that trust.
We have been blessed with a host of family, friends, and yes, strangers who stepped up to offer prayers, love and financial support when it was discovered that Willough will have to undergo open heart surgery soon.
The Bracewell family wishes to thank the many fine people who have reached out to us during the Barbecue Fundraiser held recently for Willough. We appreciate the purchase of every beautiful t-shirt designed in honor of Willough. Thank you for every food or drink item that was donated and every hour spent helping with the fundraiser. Thank you for all of the other items that were also needed to package the barbecue lunches for sale. Thank you for the money given when there was no purchase made. Thank you for every kind word whispered and every prayer lifted for our family.
The Bracewell family has been humbled beyond words and thankful to our Heavenly Father for all of you. We pray for his richest blessings to be showered upon you and yours. When Willough is older, she will know of God's wonderful grace and mercy and she will know of all the wonderful people who gladly stepped up to be touched by an angel!
