Museum preps for ‘Christmas In July’ Saturday

MILLEDGEVILLE — Georgia’s Old Capital Museum Society is helping shoppers beat the July heat to shop during the “Christmas in July” sale this weekend.

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Milledgeville Mall, a wide variety of Christmas-related items will be available for purchase, including trees, wreaths, decorations, stocking-stuffers, linens, gift items and more.

To reserve a table during the event and display personal items related to the Christmas season, the deadline to sign-up is by 4 p.m. today for a rental fee of $10.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit educational outreach programs of the museum.
