Members of Northside Baptist Church on North Jefferson Street recently gathered together outside the church offices to celebrate the Christmas season with a choral concert and live Nativity scene.
Associate Pastor Brandon Furr said the congregation had always worked hard around the holidays to put together a performance which would warm hearts and open up minds.
“This is the third year we’ve done this,” Furr said. “We always enjoy members of the community and church participating and attending. We hope the Lord will allow us to hold this again next year.”
Taylor Tom, church youth minister, helped organize the event by recruiting the youth of the church to play the role of Mary, Joseph, kings and wise men.
