MILLEDGEVILLE — The Baldwin County Fire Rescue is collecting toys for its third annual Kids-Yule-Love Toy Drive. The follow stations are drop points: Allen Memorial Drive, Central State Hospital campus, Carr Station Road, Highway 22 and Lovers Lane and Log Cabin Road. The Lemon Tree downtown and Dr. William Lee’s office, 2715 N. Columbia, are also drop points. Toy collection will run until Dec. 18.

Flu vaccines are now available at the Baldwin County Health Department. They will offer both the traditional flu shot and Flu Mist, which is a nasal spray. Vaccines will cost $25 but are available at no charge to those on Medicaid, Peachcare, Wellcare, Amerigroup, Medicare Part B, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia or a State Benefit Plan through United Healthcare or Cigna. Flu vaccines will also be offered in the schools this year. Parents will receive permission slips from their child’s school in the coming weeks.

10:30 a.m. to noon: Free computer classes for seniors will be held at the Senior Citizens Center in Baldwin County.

1 to 3 p.m.: Digital Bridges Open Computer Clinic is open in the Knight Community Innovation Center, 127 W. Hancock St. Work station availability is limited. The clinic is designed to teach basic skills to adult beginning computer users. Participants may come with specific questions or for general knowledge.
