MILLEDGEVILLE — In support of Relay for Life Century Bank is providing Easter candygrams for $2 and $4, the latter includes a bean bag animal. Belk’s will host a Charity Sale on Saturday, April 27 from 6 to 10 a.m. Tickets are $5 and all proceeds from tickets sales go to Relay for Life. For more information or to purchase a candygram or sale ticket contact Tammy Lee at tammylee@centurybankonline.com. Piggly Wiggly is also asking for $1 donations at checkout all through March.

Baldwin County Schools will hold kindergarten registration for children 5 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2013. Registration will be held weekdays March 18-29 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Birth certificate, proof of residence, current immunization form, eye, ear and dental forms and a social security card are required. For school zone questions call (478) 457-2405.

Beginning in April and May IMPACT pre-service training classes to become a foster or adoptive parent will take place. They will be held in Gray and are free. For more information call 1 (877) 210-5437 or (478) 445-7020.



Friday, March 22

10 a.m. to noon: Digital Bridges Open Computer Clinic is open in the Knight Community Innovation Center, 127 W. Hancock St. Work station availability is limited. The clinic is designed to teach basic skills to adult beginning computer users. Participants may come with specific questions or for general knowledge. 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.: Mary Vinson Memorial Library, 151 S. Jefferson St., will host a Game Night with Xbox, Wii and board games (middle and high school students). For more information contact Dabney Kinser at (478) 452-0677 ext. 127.

7 p.m.: Blandy Hills Elementary chorus and YES program present Disney’s Aristocats KIDS at the Baldwin High School Little Theater. Tickets are $5 in advance and $6 at the door. Children 3 and under admitted free.

7 p.m.: The Baldwin High School Advanced Chorus, the United Methodist Church Choir and the Milledgeville Singers Guild are combining with a 20-piece orchestra to perform Faure's Requiem. The conductor of this concert is Christopher Rosborough. The baritone soloist is Bill Killmeier, and the soprano soloist is Andrea Mueller. This is a free concert and will be held at the Methodist Church, 366 Log Cabin Road NE.
