Collection bins will be positioned in the parking lot at Baldwin County Fire/Rescue Headquarters, 312 Allen Memorial Drive. 1 to 2:30 p.m.: Falun Gong offered at Central City Park (formerly Bonner Park) picnic area. Cultivate mind and body with five sets of easy-to-learn exercises suitable for all ages and all physical conditions. Classes are free. (478) 453-4241
4 p.m.: The Mohawk Faith-Based Committee will meet in Mohawk Conference Room on Roberson Mill Road.
6:30 p.m.: The Oconee Regional Medical Center/Oconee Regional Health Systems, Inc. Board meets in the Administrative Suite Board Room.
Thursday, Oct. 22
All Department of Driver Services customer service centers and administrative offices throughout the state will be closed due to mandatory furlough days. Customers that many transactions including initiating a change of address or replacing a lost license can be done online at www.dds.ga.gov.
7 a.m.: The Old Capital Kiwanis Club meets in Room 2-52 of Herty Hall on the GCSU campus.
Noon: The Rotary meets at the Country Club.
Noon: The Eatonton Kiwanis Club meets at Central Georgia Tech on the James Marshall bypass.
1 p.m.: The Eatonton Duplicate Bridge Club, an official member of the American Contract Bridge League, meets at the Eatonton Performing Arts Center at Madison Avenue in Eatonton. Come with a partner or e-mail Pat Turney at turney@plantationcable.net for a possible partner match.

5:30 p.m.: The Bicycling Club of Milledgeville meets at Bartram Forest on Carl Vinson Road for its weekly mountain bike ride for all levels. Ride at your own pace.
6 to 8 p.m.: The Milledgeville Kiwanis Club presents a BBQ Sneak Peek. Sample ribs from 3 teams and vote for your favorite. All plates include ribs from 3 teams, 2 sides and a drink. Tickets are $15. Raffle tickets for a custom made grill from Bubba Grills are available for $5 each or 5 for $20. The drawing will be held at the Deeproots Festival at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24 on the Bellamy Student Apartments Mainstage. Ticket holders do not have to be present to win. All proceeds go to revitalizing downtown Milledgeville. Tickets for both events can be purchased at the Milledgeville Main Street Office.
6:30 p.m.: The Old Capitol Optimist Club meets at the Golden Corral Restaurant on North Columbia Street. Interested citizens are welcome.
7:30 p.m.: Bingo is held at the American Legion Post 523 on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Refreshments will be sold. (478) 452-1611

7 p.m. to noon: Milledgeville Cares will host a community yard sale at Walter B. Williams Gym. Proceeds from the event will go to aid community nonprofits.
