Wednesday, July 15

7:30 a.m.: Lake Oconee Promise Keepers meets at The River of Life center on Scott Road. Jack Minchey (706) 473-0431.

9 a.m. to 11 a.m.: The Relocated Veterans will hold their monthly breakfast at Pecan Hills Apartments in the commons area, 900 W. Montgomery St.

10:30 a.m.: VIP, a support group for visually impaired persons, meets at the First Presbyterian Church, 210 S. Wayne St. (478) 452-1444

Noon: Milledgeville Exchange Club meets at the Milledgeville Country Club.

1 to 2:30 p.m.: Falun Gong offered at Central City Park (formerly Bonner Park) picnic area. Cultivate mind and body with five sets of easy-to-learn exercises suitable for all ages and all physical conditions. Classes are free. (478) 453-4241

4 p.m.: The Mohawk Faith-Based Committee will meet in Mohawk Conference Room on Roberson Mill Road.

5:30 to 8 p.m.: Hardwick Baptist is holding a week long vacation bible school, “The Boomerang Express.” Hardwick Baptist is located at 124 Thomas St. in Hardwick.

6:30 p.m.: The Oconee Regional Medical Center/Oconee Regional Health Systems, Inc. Board meets in the Administrative Suite Board Room.



Thursday, July 16

7 a.m.: The Old Capital Kiwanis Club meets in Room 2-52 of Herty Hall on the GCSU campus.

8:30 a.m.: The Milledgeville-Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce Full Board meets in the Chamber Boardroom at 130 S. Jefferson St.

10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m, 3:30 p.m.: Okefenokee Joe will present a Terrific Thursday program featuring snakes at Mary Vinson Library. (478) 452-0677.

Noon: The Rotary meets at the Country Club.

Noon: The Eatonton Kiwanis Club meets at Central Georgia Tech on the James Marshall bypass.

1 p.m.: The Eatonton Duplicate Bridge Club, an official member of the American Contract Bridge League, meets at the Eatonton Performing Arts Center at Madison Avenue in Eatonton. Come with a partner or e-mail Pat Turney at turney@plantationcable.net for a possible partner match.

6:30 p.m.: The John Milledge Chapter, Sons of the American Revolution, meet at the Milledgeville Country Club.

7 p.m.: The Milledgeville Lions Club meets at the Golden Corral on North Columbia Street.

6:30 p.m.: The Old Capitol Area Chapter of The Military Officers Association of America meets at the Georgia Military College dining hall.



Saturday, July 18

4 p.m.: Warren Hawkins Unit/Post 523 will install officers. Music by Partners in Christ. Open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

6:30 p.m.: American Legion Auxiliary Post 523 meets at 430 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. All members are urged to attend.
