The Transportation Investment Act of 2010 sought a solution for Georgia's transportation and highway system infrastructure issues by authorizing the T-SPLOST referendum. On July 31, residents in 12 established state regions vote on the 1-cent regional sales tax projected to raise $19 billion statewide.

How do I register to vote?
To register to vote in the state of Georgia, you must be a citizen of the United States, a legal resident of Georgia and of the county in which you wish to vote and at least 17 1/2 years of age. If you are not registered to vote, register here.

What's my voting district?
Baldwin County voters will head to the polls in July and again in November for local, state and national elections. With the 2010 census numbering people living in the county at just more than 45,000 the five districts were split based on the population last year, changing districts for a number of local voters.
