MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.

Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office

Marijuana Possession

A man was arrested and charged with marijuana possession following a traffic stop on Ellis Street for speeding around 3:58 p.m. Nov. 25.

Theft by Taking

A woman reported the theft of a dog kennel from her Carolyn Court Apartment at approximately 6 p.m. Nov. 22.  

Entering Auto

A vehicle that was abandoned on Hodges Lake Road was towed to an auto salvage on Highway 49 Nov. 25. The owner of the car went to check on the vehicle and noticed that his hydrocodone pills had been stolen from inside. His other medication that had been filled before the incident was still there.  

Milledgeville Police Department

Theft by Taking Auto

A man reported the theft of his truck from a Village Lane apartment parking lot sometime during the night of Nov. 18.

Theft by Taking

A woman reported that her HP printer was taken from her Robin Circle home sometime between Nov. 16 and Nov. 18. 

DUI

A man was arrested for driving under the influence after a traffic stop for failure to maintain lane on East McIntosh Street around 1:43 a.m. Nov. 17.
