The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.

Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office

Driving While License Suspended 

While patrolling the area of Log Cabin Road an officer initiated a traffic stop around 4:27 p.m. Nov. 12. The driver of a vehicle was operating the car on a suspended license.  

Criminal Trespass

An officer was dispatched to a South Jefferson Street building in reference to a complaint of a trespass violation by two females Nov. 12. The officer arrived at the area around 3:54 p.m. and after speaking with neighbors, found the two women inside an unoccupied apartment. 

Theft by Shoplifting

A store clerk at a North Jefferson street convenience store reported the theft of a can of Pringles and a six-pack of beer by a man around 3:43 p.m. Nov. 15. 

Theft by Taking

A man reported the theft of his homemade trailer from his Admiralty Way residence sometime between Nov. 5 and Nov. 8. The man reported that he no longer lives at the address but checks on the property frequently. 

Theft by Shoplifting

A man reported that a another man took a bottle of alcohol and concealed it in his pants at a North Columbia Street grocery store around 8 p.m. Nov. 14.

Burglary 

A woman reported a break-in at her Grandview Drive apartment and the theft $536 and a microwave around 3:26 p.m. Nov. 16.
