MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.



Milledgeville Police Department

Theft by Taking


A woman reported that a man took several pairs of her shoes and a laptop from her Belfair Drive residence sometime before Nov. 20.

Public Drunkenness

A woman was arrested and charged with public drunkenness on Ellis Street around 3:57 p.m. Nov. 20 after reports of an unknown female walking in and out of the street, singing loudly.

Marijuana Possession

A man and a woman were arrested following a traffic stop for suspended registration on Sinclair Marina Road around 2:42 a.m. Nov. 20. The woman was charged with giving a false name and the male was charged with obstruction of an officer and marijuana possession.

Entering Auto

A woman reported that someone took two cell phones from her vehicle as it was parked at a Lewis Court address sometime between Nov. 15 and Nov. 18.

Theft by Shoplifting

A Walmart loss prevention employee reported that two females attempted to leave the store with a shopping cart that contained a purse, five pairs of sunglasses, an iPhone 4, a pair of Hanes boy's socks, and a pack of Hanes panties without paying for them around 1:17 p.m. Nov. 16.

Theft by Shoplifting

A store manager at a South Wayne Street pharmacy reported the theft of miscellaneous beauty products by a female around 4:23 p.m. Nov. 20.
