The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. Milledgeville Police Department

Disorderly Conduct


A woman was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct Nov. 24 after an argument with a neighbor over damage to her car that was supposedly made by a tree branch from the neighbor's yard.

Theft by Shoplifting

An employee of a North Columbia Street grocery store reported the theft of several packs of steaks by a female Nov. 24 around 8 p.m. The employee followed the female into the restroom where she observed her placing the packs of steak into three store bags.    Burglary

An owner at a North Jefferson Street business reported that he received a call around 9 p.m. Nov. 22 that one of his drink machines had been broken into. He discovered that the lock on his Coca-Cola machine was broken and that approximately $70 worth of bills and change was missing.      

Theft by Taking

A man reported that another man was wearing a brown cowboy hat that belonged to him. The two men were involved in a physical altercation over the hat while on North Liberty Street Nov. 21 around 6:30 p.m.

Theft by Taking

A man reported the theft of his cell phone after he left it behind at a N. Columbia Street restaurant and went to retrieve it. Employees at the restaurant told the man that someone already claimed the phone was theirs around 7:30 p.m. Nov. 21.
