The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. Theft by Deception
A store manager at a North Columbia street grocery reported that a woman called and requested food donations for a family of seven on behalf of Red Cross Nov. 9. When making contact with a representative at Red Cross, the store manager discovered that they did not have anyone working for them by her name nor any open files with her name on it.
Pointing a Gun/Pistol at Another
On Nov. 8 an officer was dispatched to a Mt. Pleasant Church Road residence in reference to someone shooting a BB gun at another person. A man reported that he was walking to a friend's house when a BB pellet suddenly struck him.
Burglary
A woman reported a break-in at her Hardwood Street home and the theft of two bottles of perfume, jewelry and a large stuffed animal sometime between 3 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Nov. 13.
Milledgeville Police Department
Theft by Taking
A woman reported the theft of a mini Acer laptop computer from her Heritage Road business Nov. 15. She believes that the juvenile son of another employee may have taken the computer.
Burglary
A man reported a break-in at a Sinclair Marina Road home he owns but is no longer living in around 10 p.m. Nov. 15. An electric stove and an air conditioning unit were reported missing from the property.
Theft by Taking
A man reported that his estranged wife had taken most of his girlfriend's clothes from his previous Chandler Circle home sometime before Nov. 16.
