The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.

Milledgeville Police Department

Theft by Taking

A woman reported that a family member took her cell phone and $40 from her purse at her Foxhill Road residence Oct. 26. 

Driving While Unlicensed

A woman was arrested for driving while unlicensed on Harrisburg Road around 12:45 a.m. Oct. 26. 

Burglary 

A woman reported a break-in at her North Jefferson Street residence Oct. 26 around 7:51 p.m. When she returned to her home she discovered several video games and a Playstation 3 Game console had been taken from the home.     

Theft by Shoplifting

An employee of a North Columbia Street department store reported the theft of six pairs of socks and four bottles of cologne by a female Nov. 1. The woman placed the items inside her purse and attempted to leave the store without paying for them.    

Burglary

A man reported that after finding a cut  window screen at his South Wayne Street home he discovered two handguns missing sometime between Nov. 2 and Nov. 4.
