MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.

Milledgeville Police Department

— Entering Auto

A man at a North Jefferson Street residence reported that parts on his vehicle had been removed sometime between Oct. 7 and Oct. 8. He attempted to start his car the morning of Oct. 8, and upon inspection, noticed that the battery had been stolen. A power cable winch and wiring harness was also reported missing from the home.

Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office

— Burglary

A woman reported a burglary from Edgewood Apartments. Someone kicked in the door of a vacant apartment and took the icemaker out of the refrigerator Oct. 6. Maintenance repaired the door. On Oct. 8, the stolen icemaker was returned.

— Affray Fighting

An officer was flagged down on South Jefferson Street in reference to a fight that had already occurred. Seven females were involved, but due to conflicting stories, no arrests were made.

— DUI

Before 1 a.m., contact was made with a driver in the Pancras Road area. He was found to be under the influence of alcohol. The offender left the scene of a vehicular accident. The officer followed the fluid trail until he reached the male with slurred speech. His blood alcohol content was .182, so the offender was charger with DUI.
