MILLEDGEVILLE —
The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office. Milledgeville Police Department
— DUI
A man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, obstruction of an officer and disorderly conduct following a traffic stop for failure to maintain lane on Highway 22 around 1:40 a.m. Oct. 5.
— Theft by Taking
A man reported the theft of his handgun and three rifles from his Myrick Road home around 4 p.m. Oct. 6.
— Theft by Taking
A woman reported the theft of an antique glass change jar and approximately $25 in assorted coins from her North Cobb Street residence around 8:36 p.m. Oct. 5.
— Burglary
A man reported a break-in at his Lewis Court address and damage to his window air conditioning unit around 9:23 p.m. Oct. 5. Two men were seen trying to remove the unit and gain entry into the residence through the window.
— Theft of Services
A city water employee reported that someone illegally accessed water at a Selma Drive residence sometime before Oct. 6.
— Burglary
On Oct. 6 around 9:10 p.m. a woman reported a break-in at a South Tattnall Street address. In the process of moving, the woman returned to the location to pick up some of her items and discovered that her stereo equipment, HP printer, blender and several clothes were missing.
— DUI
A woman was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, driving while license suspended and hit and run following a traffic stop for failure to maintain lane on North Jefferson Street around 6:46 p.m. Oct. 7.
— Theft by Shoplifting
A Dollar General employee reported the theft of items from the store by a woman. The woman had stolen a two-pack of Hanes T-shirts, a student planner, Tylenol and Advil.
— Marijuana Possession
A man was arrested and charged with marijuana possession following a traffic stop on Highway 49 for speeding around 1:30 a.m. Oct. 6.
— Financial Transaction Card Fraud
A man reported the unauthorized use of his credit card for three separate purchases in the amount of $206.38 on Oct. 5.
— Forgery
A clerk at a South Wayne Street reported the use of a fraudulent check in the amount of $82.71 around 2:49 p.m. Oct. 5.
