Theft by Taking

The owner of a Harrisburg Rd. hardwood shop reported the theft of a large amount of scrap iron from the property around 6:30 p.m. Feb. 21.  The man discovered the iron missing from the equipment stockpile in the back of the shop.





Burglary

A man reported a break-in at his Water Ridge Dr. residence sometime between Feb. 7 and Feb. 25. When returning from a trip to Florida, the man and his wife noticed the outdoor flood lights were on and the basement door was open. A handgun that was hidden in the master bedroom along with a bottle of oxycodone was reported missing from the home.



Driving While License Suspended

On Feb. 24 around 10:56 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the area of Ga Hwy 49 in reference to a possible drunk driver. Upon arrival, the deputy stopped a vehicle on Salem Church Rd. for failure to maintain lane. The driver was issued a citation for driving while license suspended.



Burglary

The owner of an business on Harrisburg Rd. reported a break-in Feb. 25. The door to the building had been forced open with a long wooden board. Approximately $80 in change and two 12 packs of Budlight beer were reported missing.
