The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.

Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office

— Burglary

A man reported that his father’s home had been broken into and that a neighbor saw two men enter the house by kicking an air conditioner into a bedroom of the Chandler Circle home. Nothing initially appeared to be missing from the home, but the son said his father would check more thoroughly he came home from work. The burglary occurred Monday around 1 p.m.

— Theft by taking

A man reported that he was at a friend’s home on Knight Drive sometime in June when he was arrested on a probation warrant. He said he left a bag of his belongings at the house. After the man was released from jail, a digital camera was determined to be missing from the bag. The man’s friend said he took the camera to a pawn shop. The case is still under investigation.

— Burglary

A woman reported a break-in and the theft of a Nintendo Wii along with damage to some furniture in her Harmony Church Road home sometime Monday.

— Financial identity fraud

A man reported that he had been turned over to a collection agency for a credit card account of which he had no knowledge. The man is in the process of disputing all charges while the case of identity theft is investigated.

— Burglary

A man reported that his storage shed had been broken into at his Allen Memorial Drive home sometime last week. Missing are a table saw, a skil saw, four electric drills and five fishing reels.
