The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.



Baldwin County Sheriff's Office

— Theft by taking

A man reported that while checking inventory at a Hammock Road company, he noted that 15 cases of toilet paper were missing and had been taken in the past two weeks.

— Burglary

A man reported that when his wife returned home after a stay in the hospital, her rings had been stolen from their Colony Farm Road home sometime earlier in the month.

— Burglary

A woman reported that her home was burglarized sometime Thursday. She did not notice the theft until her husband went into the kitchen and noticed that groceries were missing. The woman began looking around and noticed that a PlayStation 2 console and three game controllers were also missing.

— Burglary

A woman reported the theft of exercise equipment, a stereo and four Xbox games from a Log Cabin Road storage unit sometime last weekend.

— Financial transaction card fraud

A man reported that his Geo D. Warthen bank account was illegally accessed for multiple transactions from September to November.

— Theft by taking

A woman reported that someone stole her garbage container from her home on Camelia Circle sometime Thursday night.

— Theft by taking

Coty Seagraves of Quail Place or Sherry Circle was arrested and charged with theft by taking for allegedly stealing her friend’s payroll check.

— Burglary

A woman reported Friday a break in at her Smith Street home and the theft of two TVs, a computer and a cell phone.
